Alcohol is brewing: two students devise its own beer, wine

For most students, the only thing they have brewing is a problem, but for two students UK only brewing alcohol.

Adam Green, senior marketing, first heard about home beer while working at a restaurant in his hometown. The restaurant houses for sale local beer special recipes.

Her interest in homemade concocted grow and eventually leaving him to start brewing about a year ago after receiving a kit as a gift.

“I thought, Hey, I like beer and it may be cheaper and better cold to make it your own,” said green.

Green brews of beer while her roommate, Christopher Martorana, senior communications and Spain, brews wine.

Congressional hearing pits small fry to giant Com on spectrum buy

Verizon announced plans last December to acquire Advanced Wireless Services spectrum 122 license from SpectrumCo. SpectrumCo is a collaborative venture between Comcast, Bright House networks.

Comcast has about 64 per cent of SpectrumCo and could stand to benefit the most from the deal.

Verizon made a similar agreement with Cox Communications later in December, but before the deal can go through, they must meet the approval of regulators.

On Capitol Hill on Wednesday, representatives from Verizon and Comcast has argued in front of the Senate Judiciary Subcommittee on Antitrust, competition policy and the rights of consumers who buy the spectrum will ensure greater customer service, especially at the LTE network.

Opponents countered that additional spectrum will give Verizon cellular nation’s largest, had too much power. Senator Herb Kohl (D-Wis.), who presided over the trial, is also concerned that the agreement between Verizon and Comcast will serve to inhibit competition.

Philadelphia plans to curb food handouts draws protests
